Congregational Health Ambassador Training

Congregational health ministry is a holistic approach to health that emphasizes wellness, health promotion, and disease prevention. It builds upon congregational and community resources and partnerships and focuses on body, mind, and spirit for the health and healing of the community.

Learn the fundamentals of developing and strengthening a health ministry for your local congregation.  The training also includes details of the All of Us Research Program and its mission to bring social justice to health.

Note: Completion of this 8hour training course earns the participant the NBCUSA Certified Health Ministry Ambassador designation. NBCUSA Certified Health Ministry Ambassadors serve as supporters, organizers and implementers of their congregation’s health ministry’s activities.

The training event is free.
