Weakness hits us all and it lands in a variety of

Weakness hits us all and it lands in a variety of ways.

On one end of the spectrum, weakness is denied or hidden behind a pretense of strength, ability and having it all together.

The flip side is a hyper focus on what is lacking that can overwhelm, overshadow blessings and paralyze progress.

Somewhere in the middle is a proper positioning of our weaknesses.
A perspective rooted in the truth that the acceptance of our weakness is the starting point for growth.

In weakness, God’s strength is revealed.

But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Gladly boast about weaknesses?

This is possible when acknowledge our shortcomings and vulnerabilities, surrender them to God, and trust in His power to work through them.

God’s strength sustains and grows us.

That’s good news!
